It’s time to go sci-fi on your ass in this week’s episode! First, Des and I take a look at the recent Netflix acquisition Extinction. Then Rich The Monster Movie Kid goes on a Mission to Mars to report on Brian DePalma’s 2000...blockbuster?The trailers are below, as is Extinction star (and BiTD Hottie Hall of Famer) Lizzy Caplan fielding pick-up lines and a compare and contrast between Mission to Mars and the uncannily similar Red Planet...and, since I’d be remiss in not acknowledging that other Mars-based action film released within a year of each other, John Carpenter’s Ghost of Mars, a brief discussion of that flick.
