Hope you like action with your science fiction, ‘cause this episode is....well, it’s actually pretty goofy. Des and I review the thoroughly wacked out Soviet-made super-hero flick Guardians, which features a guy who turns into a giant fuck-off bear with a minigun and a logo they liked so much they used it twice! Then Rich The Monster Movie Kid continues his vacation on Da Red Planet by visiting John Carpenter’s bonkers sci-fi kinda remake of Assault of Precinct 13 that started out as a Snake Plissken vehicle, Ghosts of Mars.The trailers are below, as is a discussion of various international super-hero movies (and I can safely say we will be reviewing some of these in future episodes!), a discussion of what it would take for us to travel to Mars, and--just because--a Mars Volta video.
